A Visit to Green-Wood
This Brooklyn site of nearly 500 acres dates to the early years of rural cemeteries (1838) and contains 600,000 interments. Many mausolea are built into the steep hills. Ponds and various species of trees add interest. We particularly admired its signed pathways. Visit its website in "Links"
